FERTILIZER INJECTION TECHNIQUES

Hide Injector Pump: Venturi-Type
Due to a pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the injector, a fertilizer solution will be mixed under the irrigation water. The rate of injection is very sensitive to pressure variations, and small pressure regulators are sometimes needed for a constant ejection. They are relatively cost economic compaired to other injectors.

Hide Injector Pump: Piston Pumps
This type of fertilizer injector is regulated by the water pressure of the system. The pistons activate a water flow which activates the injector that will eject the fertilizer solution from a container, while maintaining a constant rate of injection. They are more expensive than the venturi-type injectors.
